Following "Aquatic Pool Services", in 1972, Brian opened his first store in Bellevue Hill under the name, “Bellevue Pools”. A second store, "The Pool And Spa Place”, was opened in 1981 in Rose Bay.
Brian's son Andrew worked alongside him for many years and was involved in changing the business name to the current, "Holfords Pool Services". In 2018, Brian's, Daughter-in-law, Diana, began managing the family business, building "Holfords Pool Services", to what it is today.
